What is Basic ePHI System?
A basic ePHI system refers to a system that is used by an individual for the creation, access, transmission, and also to receiving of ePHI. While the basic ePHI system may be used by a single user, the payment and other health care operations are taken care of by the Above-threshold ePHI system.
